9/11 Biblical Reflections

Kiss the Son, Lest He be Angry by Richard Bennett and Robert Nicholson

Comments from Richard Wozniak

I called my wife to let her know what was happening and to assure her I was OK.
It was seconds after I hung up the phone that the tower collapsed and I was
able to run toward the back of the lobby and position my back up against the
steel girder that you see visible in the middle of the picture. This was in
the form of a marble pillar in the lobby before the tower collapsed.

Only God and his Sovereign grace
could have protected me this day. The building itself was torn away up to the
1st 16 or so floors and the street in front collapsed. As I have said in my
testimony of Baptism, what good would it have been to me that I walked
out of this building alive an d unscratched as I did if I did not have
Christ in my life? Physically I would be alive but spiritually I would have
been dead already. My testimony is one from one who has been saved by the
Lord's grace through faith and the sufficient sacrifice of Christ Jesus at
Calvary and again by the Lord's mighty hands that shielded me from harm on
September 11, 2001. I will proclaim Him and confess He is Lord while He
continues to give me the breath of life in which to glorify Him
